Gratitude: So I paid, of course, for my enthusiasm at my allotment (if you saw my video).
Yesterday, my first day out of a pain wracked bed. To hobble downstairs, spending the afternoon wrapped in my duvet on the grass outside, staring at the Cat’s Ears on the lawn looking like suns floating in the cosmos.
It is a low lying edible herb, so no wonder it shone out so brightly for me. Summer sunlight brought to earth. Its' offerings held up to the light on slender stalks.
Pain has a way of levelling everything. Clearing the lens of the domesticated soul to see the wild edges and matters of the heart. What else is there? Here, a pathway of light to the stars. In my back garden beauty abounds.
